The 2026 Legacy Edition is the newest Series of Award Mint’s original Omega Psi Phi Founders Medallion Set, first released at the 80th Grand Conclave in Las Vegas in 2016. The original production was 400 serialized sets. The original molds no longer exist, which is part of the rationale for treating the 2026 version as a recreated Legacy Edition rather than simply another production run.
Award Mint, LLC is an authorized vendor of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. This medallion set was exclusively designed for the members of Omega Psi Phi to the highest standards. The Omega Psi Phi Founders Limited Set consist of 4 2.5" 3D High Quality Brass Medallion Coins in a Purple velvet Case. The case may be used for storage or display. Each coin depicts one of the 4 founders in 3D raised brass. The back of each coin contains the official shield raised in 3D and enamel painted in the fraternity's official colors. The 4 founders are placed on and around raised in 3D brass. Special attention was paid to the fine details of the shield and the likenesses of each founder. Both sides of the coins contain of borders raised brass print in a sea of purple. The borders on both sides containing the fraternity's name, with the front (founder's face side) containing the fraternity's motto "Friendship is Essential to the Soul" and the back with the fraternity's date of founding.
